Who provides the service
itjobs.info is provided by Mussie Haile, trading as Guiding Ventures, Lohmühlenstraße 65, 12435 Berlin, Germany. Email: admin@guidingventures.com. Full details are in the imprint.
What the site is
itjobs.info is a job board for IT roles in the US, aimed at career changers and entry-level candidates. Using the site is free for job seekers, and you don't need an account.
We are not an employment agency. We don't place candidates, we don't pass applications on, and we are not part of any employer's hiring process.
Job listings are third-party content
Listings come from the Adzuna API and from employers who send them to us. They are the employers' content, not ours. We can't guarantee that a listing is accurate or complete, or that the job is still open. Please check the details with the employer before you rely on them.
The Entry Bar Check
The Entry Bar Check is an automatic, rule-based reading of the job ad text. It labels a listing's requirements as must-have or nice-to-have and gives the listing an entry bar level from 1 to 4. An editor may review it later.
It assesses job ads, not people. It is guidance, not career or legal advice, and it says nothing about whether a particular employer will hire you.
External links
"Apply" buttons and other links take you to Adzuna's site or the employer's site. Those sites are run by others, and their own terms and privacy policies apply. We have no control over their content.
Employer listings
These offers are for business customers only, not consumers. All prices are net, plus VAT where it applies.
- Free listing: one listing, live for 30 days. We set it up on request by email.
- Featured listing, $149: pins one listing on its role and city pages for 30 days.
Enquiries are non-binding. We send an offer by email, and a contract is formed only when we confirm it in writing. There is no online payment or self-serve posting yet.
Paid placements are labelled "Advertising" wherever they appear.
Removal requests
If you think a listing is wrong, out of date or unlawful, or you want your contact details removed from one, email admin@guidingventures.com with the listing's link.
Liability
We are liable without limitation for damage caused by intent or gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the German Product Liability Act (Produkthaftungsgesetz).
For slight negligence, we are liable only if we breach an essential obligation. That is an obligation that makes proper use of the service possible in the first place and on which you may regularly rely. In that case our liability is limited to the typical damage that was foreseeable at the time.
Otherwise we are not liable. These limits also apply to the people who act for us.
Governing law
German law applies. If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not take away the protection given to you by the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live.
